Your First Tailored Resume

  1. Build your Career Library once — experiences, projects, skills, education, repositories. This is the reusable source every tailored resume is generated from; you don't re-enter it per application.
  2. Extract facts (optional, recommended) — run career_fact_extractor so later AI actions ground in verified facts instead of loose prose.
  3. Create an application with a job posting, either pasted, imported by URL, or captured by the browser extension.
  4. Tailor from Library — resume_tailor wipes and rebuilds a resume from your full Career Library, targeted at that specific posting. This is the most aggressive AI action in the product, which is why the UI gates it behind a confirmation dialog.
  5. Check it — recruiter_first_screen_simulation gives read-only feedback across 8 dimensions without rewriting anything.

From there, interview_prep_generator, company_insights, and the outreach-message skills (cold, follow-up, thank-you) cover the rest of the application lifecycle.
